Ashby Wratchford- Sprocket’s new Hired Gun

Sprocket is very pleased to announce our relationship with Ashby Wratchford, a super talented Flame/Visual Effects artist. We bring him in when we need the “magic” on the screen. You may not know what a Flame/VFX artist does exactly but you have certainly seen their work on the screen. Take a look at Ashby’s reel and his “magic”.

ASHBY’S BIO:  Ashby brings 16 years of commercial post production experience to the table, 12 of which have been as the Finisher. As a Flame Artist, Ashby has finished for countless National and International campaigns, Feature Films, and Music Videos. Conform, Color Grading, Visual Effects, Deep Compositing, Graphic Animation, and Final Output of the Master Files ultimately fall on his shoulders. When you need to “Fix it in Post”, he is the lead compositor to make what was once impossible, possible.

Paralleling along Post Production, Ashby has accumulated 20 years of on set and location Filmmaking. Reveling in his love of the process and story building, he continues to find himself behind the camera, mostly these days as a Visual Effects Supervisor.

Ashby enjoys the sense of relief clients have when the project makes it him. All the battles are fought and the hard work is behind them. He simply gets to knock it out of the park.
